American rapper, singer, songwriter and engineer eMkay emerged on the hip-hop scene in 2012, instantly establishing himself as a rising star out of the East Coast. The Queens, New York rapper debuted his breakthrough single Moving On which appeared on Eminem’s Shade45 radio station, igniting his buzz into hip-hop. In 2013, eMkay attended the IMEA Awards in Ashland, Kentucky, winning awards for both Hip-Hop Song (Control) & Album of The Year (Moving On) . Since the release of his first album, eMkay has performed live, opening for artists such as Fabolous, Trey Songz, Mobb Deep, & Jadakiss.

Following the success of his debut album, eMkay followed up with R.E.A.L (Revealing Everything About Life). Singles such as What’s It Worth, Imagine That, & Pure Love tallied thousands of streams, adding to the list of hits from the No Respect honcho. Later in 2014, eMkay returned to Ashland, Kentucky for the 2nd Annual IMEA Awards, performing the hit single “Imagine That” to the Kentucky crowd. Later that night, eM would become a three time IMEA Award winner, this time for Hip-Hop Artist Of The Year.

In 2015, eMkay announced the 4 EP series. Finishing off the year strong, the young star debuted the project which would include his two biggest singles to date Seen a Lot & The One. Carrying momentum into 2016, the No Respect General added the club single Racks to his discography. On July 4th, 2016, sparks continued to fly for the young icon as 4 (The Sequel) was released.
